Our mission is to elevate the aluminum can into a premium object through thoughtful design, responsible distribution, and meaningful storytelling. To create a water can people are proud to place on the table, carry into a meeting, and be seen with not just drink from.
OUR STORY
2017 - The Spark
He saved the idea as a photo on his phone and moved on with life.
Maybe the world wasn’t ready yet. Or maybe, he wasn’t.
2024 - The Push
It was rediscovered by Zainab Kazi, now our CMO.
She asked the questions that matter.
Challenged comfort zones.
And refused to let a good idea stay buried.
Late-night conversations turned into bold what ifs.
And one belief became clear:
Sustainability isn’t a trend. It’s a responsibility.
The first version of the dream took shape.
We called it PAANI.
2025 - The Leap
With no prior food & beverage background but relentless belief Fardeen and Zainab spent months learning from the ground up.

Over 500 venture capital pitches were sent.
The response was consistent:
“Too early. Come back when you have revenue.”

Momentum slowed. Doubt crept in.
Until a late-night scroll revealed The Final Pitch launching its first season in Dubai.
We applied—with clarity, conviction, and courage.
June
An email changed everything.
We were selected.
On June 13, our journey on The Final Pitch began—and the story started to turn.
July
We reached the finale of The Final Pitch Dubai.
And secured funding to produce our first 50,000 cans
August
A milestone moment.
We partnered with Meydan Free Zone to bring those 50,000 co-branded cans to life
November — The Becoming
Something still didn’t feel complete.
PAANI no longer reflected who we were becoming.
That’s when CANAMĀ was born Can in English.
Mā meaning water in Arabic.
A name rooted in place.
